You asked, Challenge delivers! They are bringing long-awaited tubeless technology to their popular line of cyclocross tires.

All-around tread pattern for cyclocross

Grifo is the "all-rounder" tread pattern from Challenge tires that works well in all surfaces. If you can only have one tread pattern and one wheelset, this is the one you want for the whole season - works on wet, dry, hardpack, loose dirt.

TLR Tubeless Ready

The legendary Grifo from Challenge goes tubeless! Tubeless ready for use on modern tubeless rims with sealant.

Riders who like the Grifo tread pattern should also check out the new Grifo HTLR handmade tubeless-ready version, Challenge's highest-performance tubeless option. The tire on this page is the more economical vulcanized version.

Aramid folding bead

The Grifo TLR uses a lightweight, folding Aramid bead that saves grams. This also makes them easy to carry in your pit bag or toolbox as spares, so you can change tires to suit conditions at the venue on the day of the race.

Good but not great

These mounted up very easy tubeless and have been durable on rough courses. They definitely roll very fast. Cornering grip is not great. It grips well in grass but trying to corner in anything else can get a little dicer than I’d like. I wouldn’t probably get these again unless I was guaranteed to race only in pristine dry grass all the time.
